The LMGCSA offers several scholarships every year.

Legacy Award

LMGCSA Scholarship

Neil Mayberry is our 2008 Scholarship Chairman. His committee members are Robb Arnold, Al Osteen, Will Arnett, CGCS and Ricky Maier, CGCS. Please feel free to contact Neil, any of his committee members or Mrs. Linda Wells for any questions regarding scholarships.

BEARD EQUIPMENT COMPANY has graciously sponsored our Legacy Award for several years and is our sponsor this year. Their donation of $250, matched by LMGCSA, provides us with a $500 scholarship. This scholarship is available to any child/grandchild of an LMGCSA member. Application deadline is June 15th. You can access the application form by clicking on LEGACY AWARD above.

JERRY PATE TURF & IRRIGATION, Inc. has graciously sponsored our Turf Scholar Competition for several years and is our sponsor this year. Their donation of $1,000 is matched by LMGCSA for a total of $2,000. The applicant must be an undergraduate student and have completed the first year (24 hours or equivalent) in a program related to golf course management.
